Ribbon Community Café

The Community Café is open every Friday lunch time from 11.30am to 1.00pm. Our Studio transforms into a restaurant, where members of the public can come along and enjoy a two course meal (including a drink) for the very reasonable price of £3.50 for adults, £2.50 for concessions and £1.50 for children under 3.

In support of Community Café, over lunch time each day, a small group of children work in our larger poly-tunnel with Mr Murray (Site Manager) to grow vegetables, fruit and flowers. Produce such as: kale, cauliflower, broad beans, potatoes, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, courgettes, beetroot, grapes, and a selection of flowers and herbs have been used in our kitchen.

The café is extremely popular so remember to come along early to avoid disappointment or book a table by contacting school (0191 5175900) if you would like to reserve a table (please see Friday’s menu below).

Our team of Year 5 skilled staff members and Mrs Ord are waiting to greet you this Friday! Come and join us!
