Compliments, Complaints and Feedback

Ribbon Academy is committed to providing a safe and stimulating environment with consistent and accessible education to children and their parents/carers. We always aim to provide high quality service for everyone, but accept that sometimes things do not always go to plan. In such circumstances, we want to know so that we can work together to find solutions.

The person complaining (complainant) is normally expected to make arrangements to speak directly with the member of staff concerned. This may be by letter, by telephone or in person by appointment. It is anticipated that most complaints will be resolved at this informal stage. If the complaint is not resolved at the informal stage, the complaint must be put in writing and passed to the Head Teacher. If the complaint is about the Head Teacher, arrangements should be made at the earliest opportunity to speak directly with the Head Teacher. In the case of serious concerns, it may be appropriate to raise them directly with the Chair of the Trustees. Further information about how to do this is included within our ‘Complaints Policy’ available on the ‘Policies’ section of the website.
